through nature studies and outside play. Our facility offers a clean, warm, home-like environment which is equipped with the most
up-to-date and safest toys and learning materials. Two spaciously enclosed play areas with quality designed play equipment, a garden,

Hours of Operation
Jeffersonville Country Day School is open from 7:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M. daily, Monday through Friday. The school is closed on legal holidays
and for one week during the December holiday season. Every effort is made to remain open during inclement weather.
Our staff consists of a team of trained professionals who are carefully screened for their academic merits as well as their patience,
love, and understanding of young children. Each staff member is certified in First-Aid and Safety, and are involved in on-going training in
the education of young children.
Our academic programs are progressive and based on established national developmental guidelines set for young children. Our curriculums
consist of music, art, science, reading readiness, whole-language experiences, math readiness, social studies, health and safety, and cooking.
The children also enjoy numerous field trips, parties, and special events that are held throughout the year.
Our academic program runs from September through mid-June.
We have small class sizes that are separated by developmental abilities. Each classroom is bright and airy, and has age appropriate toys and learning
materials. There are five developmental levels that focus on the needs of the individual child's emotional, cognitive, and social skills.

Jamboree Summer Program
Jeffersonville Country Day School offers a full Summer program mid-June through August. Children may be enrolled on a full-time
or part-time basis. Weekly themes stress art, music, indoor and outdoor games, nature studies, and plain old fun.
The Parent's Role in the School
We firmly believe that a child's success in life is heightened by parental involvement at home and at school. Parents are always welcome
to visit the school anytime, and to partake in school field trips, classroom parties, and special events.
Open two-way communication between parents and the school is essential. Parent-Teacher conferences are held throughout the school year
to discuss your child's progress. Monthly parent newsletters are distributed to inform parents of what children are learning at school and
special school events, along with offering learning extension ideas and parenting tips.
We encourage any parent interested in enrolling their child in the school to visit our facility and to learn more about the programs we
offer. Enrollment is open subject to classroom space availability, and is filled on a first come, first to register basis. Enrollment
is filled without regard to race, religion, natural origin, or sex.
